The Deathclaw Coven: Information

ToS:
First and foremost, these are book illustrations for a project I have planned.
As such, I still own rights to the artwork itself. Don't worry! This only means I can print and/or alter the image to appear in the book, but the character is yours to keep and edit as you wish. All future artworks you make or commission featuring the character are NOT mine, nor will I hold any rights to those. I will also not ask for nor offer to purchase the character back.
I also understand that somewhere down the line, these designs may potentially be used in adult pieces by the buyer. I'd prefer not, but ultimately have no say against it - I just ask that you please Do Not show me the resulting pieces. I'm just gosh darn not interested personally, and don't really need to see that sort of thing!
Each design comes with a title, a short lore segment, and a list of prominent features. The book project highlights each design as if it were a deathclaw encountered in the wasteland and the observer's (very minimal) notes on it. The title is separate from any name you choose to give it. For example in this design, the Emperor of Famine is his title, while Khaedes is the name I have given to the character.
The lore also doesn't have to be adhered to, strictly or at all!
The features list is not a set of restricted or rarity-based traits you might see in species adoptables. It's merely a sort of guide to highlight what's special about the design compared to others.
The design may be altered to your tastes. The changes will not be reflected in my original artwork. I will not resell the original design if the edited character no longer closely resembles it.
RESELLING IS ALLOWED, but please don't sell for more than the worth of the original purchase price, along with any additional artworks you may have accrued for it. I don't want these to be used as adoptable currency or fodder! Cherish Your Lizards
Please do not claim, trace, copy, or otherwise use the designs if you are not the buyer. The watermark is NOT to be excluded from the piece in any way, as both a protection to the piece and the buyer.
Please do not harass successful buyers. If I find you doing this, you will be blacklisted and prevented from purchasing any future designs from me.
I DO NOT OWN DEATHCLAWS. Their base design is owned by Bethesda.

boy howdy I wondered as a young'n why people didn't go on dA every single day
but now I come on and it's like 'BUY CORE AND DISABLE YOUR ADBLOCK' which screams to me that theyre losing hard right now ahah
well, still. I've been here for years and I'm not gonna permanently vanish any time soon but once youre out of teenage years it just loses its appeal. Everything about it is trying to say 'we're a professional art site' but caters more towards the young artists, which I'm not any more so I've moved on to .. I want to say 'greener pastures' but really nothing's different, just the audience I want to Fight Directly

In other news, I've started up a couple of freelance projects - one's a long-term book illustration, the other is a long-term Contractually-Obliged Silence lmao
I also have my hands full trying to churn out new content for Overload this year, and then I might give con stuff a rest for at least a year while I try and shift all of my old print stock, since I've had some of those things for three years and they're probably doing no good stagnating where they are :I Gotta move over for the new kids amirite

but soon
shiftin to an entire new city so thats uh. thats gonna be fun
sad story is that i attended my last drawfest auckland last month! a bit unexpected, but them's the breaks. at least theres the wellington nerds to catch up with somewhere down the line? ?
I'm going to be in Residential Limbo for four months though, I think. that's at least the development of plans we came up with today, but
first I need a way to get myself and all my stuff down to where it needs to go. My move-out date is may 20 so I'll be scuttling around trying to get rid of a bunch of stuff before then, to make everything easier x_x
My deathclaw and kullenuska suits will be staying up in Auck though, because kullenuska is bulky and the deathclaw.. can't move with all my stuff. she weighs less than 10kg but she can't be folded up or she'd shatter all her back spikes and rip the internal foam, and transporting her requires car seats folded down and stuff so. with all my stuff, that just wouldn't work out. So she's staying behind!
other than that exciting bit of news that hasn't actually been 100% nailed down regarding details.. nothin. im behind on commissions, i ate too much over the last two weeks, i'm basically the equivalent of those male praying mantises that fly around and bounce off the windows and die a lot. i saw one squashed flat on the road even. how dumb do u have to be to get run over by a car i mean getting eaten by cats or spiders is one thing but getting hit by a car when youre a spindly flight-capable insect is another thing entirely
im getting off track lmao seeya
